Growing up, I was always very passionate about basketball. Unfortunately, in high school I was faced with an ultimatum when I found out I would no longer be able to play at a competitive level due to chronic injuries. Instead, I found a different way to pursue my passion. In 2009, I began volunteering for the Silver Trail Middle School Girls' Basketball Team. Since then, I have assumed the role as Assistant Coach. My love for the game and my desire to lead young athletes has been a success. I have had the opportunity to mold individuals into team players. Together, for the past 5 years, we have gone on to four County Championships.
More importantly, I have learned the importance of pursuing my passions. When you love what you do, you become great at it. It has been an absolute pleasure to lead these young athletes and watch them grow as individuals.
